Hi there,

One of the easiest ways to increase your campaign volume is to plan around holidays and seasonal moments throughout the year.

Here are the most important dates to have on your radar. If it's relevant for your brand, make sure you have a campaign going out around it.

  • New Year's Day (Jan 1)

  • New Year, New You campaigns (first 2 weeks of January)

  • Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) - biggest sale of the year

  • Small Business Saturday (day after Black Friday)

  • Cyber Monday (Monday after Thanksgiving)

  • Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale (plan this out at least 6 weeks in advance)

December

  • Christmas (Dec 25)

  • Hanukkah (date varies)

  • Holiday gift guide campaigns

  • Last day for Christmas delivery

  • New Year's Eve (Dec 31)

  • End of year clearance sale

Every month, check what holidays are relevant to your specific brand and build a campaign around them.

If you're a non-alcoholic cocktail brand, National Margarita Day is a perfect campaign angle. If you're a pet brand, National Pet Day is a no brainer. The more relevant the moment, the more your email feels timely instead of promotional.

Hope this helps.

Best,
Luca

P.S. Black Friday and Cyber Monday should be planned at least 6 weeks in advance. It's the biggest sales weekend of the year for most ecom brands. Don't leave it to the last minute.
